From whimsical Santas to vibrant poinsettias to lush garlands and even a lone pinecone, the entries were many — and lovely. Over steaming cups of hot chocolate the three volunteer judges reviewed notes, studied photos (all provided by Joe’l Lambe), tallied points, and pondered long and hard over which mailboxes to select. There was much discussion over styles, colors, props and themes.
A big thanks to all whose festive, cleverly designed mailboxes dotted the Ponderosa Hills landscape. It was a pleasure to see them. It was also a tough call, but here are the three winners. Click on the small picture to see the full size image.
