Are you interested in adding some trees to you property and patient enough to start with seedlings?
In that case you may be in luck: the Douglas County Conservation District is in the middle of their annual Seedling Tree program. Anybody with more than 2 acres of land can buy seedlings in quantities of 30 or more for conservation purposes for a very reasonable price.

If you have lost some of your magnificent old-growth trees to pine beetles, this is an excellent way to help the reforestation process on your lot.
