The following legal meeting notice will be mailed first class to all Ponderosa Hills residents shortly after August 1, 2011. The PHCA Board has been working with Douglas County on the water rights project for several months. We are seeking the water rights underneath the County-owned open space park and roads in Ponderosa Hills. The water rights deed will be held by the PHCA Board for the benefit of all Ponderosa Hills residents and used in the future if our wells run dry and we have to explore other options for water in Ponderosa Hills.

This notice is being sent to all residents of Ponderosa Hills , as well as residents and Home Owners Associations that border Ponderosa Hills.
Ponderosa Hills Civic Association is hereby notifying you that a request for Quit Claim Of Water Rights beneath the Douglas County open space park and roads here in Ponderosa Hills has been submitted to the Douglas County Community Development Department.
This request for Quit Claim Of Water Rights beneath County-owned land shall be considered by the Douglas County Board of County Commissioners on August 23, 2011 at 1:30 PM in the Commissioners’ Hearing Room, 100 Third Street, Castle Rock, CO.
