Addressing Issues with the Board

As an elected body, the board is open to addressing questions from all current members of the Ponderosa Hills Civic Association. The easiest way to do so is during one of our community meetings, like the one we just had in April. These meetings are expected to be scheduled at least twice each year.

If your issue can not wait for a general meeting, you can take it up it at any time with a board member or have it scheduled for discussion during a Board meeting. However, as board meetings are held in members’ homes, and the agenda is very tight, we would like to ask you to follow the procedure:

  1. Contact the appropriate board member with your question
    • If there is an active committee, contact the chair. Click here for a list of active committees or click on “committees” in the top menu bar.
    • Contact the president, Rob Stuehrk, if there is no active committee.
  2. If your question can be answered without a board meeting, you will receive an answer quickly.
Please make sure we have your current phone number and/or email address so we can contact you.
  3. If your question requires a discussion of the board, we can add it to the agenda, and either the chair or yourself can present it during the meeting. Your contact will discuss with you what is most appropriate.

While agenda items can be added at the start of the Board meeting, meeting planning and preparation by the members is usually better if all items are included  in the agenda when it is distributed about 7 days prior to the meeting.

The board makes every attempt to promptly share with you all aspects of our meetings through the posted minutes and newsletters. Unfortunately with over 350 families in Ponderosa Hills, we have to limit the number of non board members at our monthly meetings.  If you would still like to attend a meeting as a non-participant, please contact Rob with your request.

To find contact information for all board members, follow this link, or click on About-The Board on the top menu bar. You can also contact us using the contact form.

This information will also be published in our next quarterly newsletter.
